Four Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Plates

Second Half 18th Century

comprising a circa 1795 pair of plates with arms of Elias Morgan, a circa 1780 plate with arms of William MacDonald of Ranathan, and a circa 1755 plate with arms of Gordon and Baronet of Nova Scotia. 
Diameter of largest 9 3/4 inches.

Condition
Plates in overall fine and stable condition, free of any cracks or substantive losses. Each with areas of enamel loss, scratching, and scattered inclusion to surface. Pair of Morgan plates each with losses to gold at center and repaired and repainted chips to rims; one with adhesive residue to underside. MacDonald plate with chip to rim.
